This Thursday (03/07) our quarterly "Meet The Winemaker" event returns with very special guest Tim Castle from Passing Clouds, one of our districts most loved, moved respected, and most awarded wineries. This free event right here at Hotel Trentham enables even the most novice wine drinker to chat, learn and try some of Passing Clouds best wines, including a wonderfully rare Sparkling Rose'.
What better opportunity to also introduce on the night our new chef Pietro Gatti, Pietro has put together 4 special meals that pair wonderfully with the great selection of Passing Clouds wines, which are being sampled in our bistro from 5.30pm to 7.30pm.
Pietro was born in Verona Italy, being famous as the setting of Shakespeare's tragedy, Romeo and Juliet – and it would be an absolute tragedy to not come along on Thursday 3rd July and try one of his four favourite dishes, all inspired by the various kitchens where he learnt his trade.

- Barramundi Puttanesca With Roasted Local Potatoes
- House Made Potato Gnocchi With Ragout Bianco & Gremolata
We have only a limited amount of each dish, which are priced at just $35 each, with Pietro’s menu available from 5pm to 8pm for our Meet The Winemaker event.
There will also be a great selection of Passing Clouds wines available to purchase by the glass for $15, and very special bottle prices of just $50 - perfectly paired with Pietro's menu.
